<div style='text-align:Left;'><p>This dataset contains current Bushfire Management Areas (BMAs) proclaimed under Section 72 of the South Australian <a href='https://www.legislation.sa.gov.au/LZ/C/A/Fire and Emergency Services Act 2005.aspx' target='_blank'>Fire and Emergency Services Act 2005</a>. BMAs are used as administrative areas for bushfire management planning purposes. Each Bushfire Management Area has an associated Bushfire Management Committee (BMC) and Bushfire Management Area Plan (BMAP). BMCs and BMAPs are defined under Sections 72A and 72B of the above mentioned act.
